The Elftown Crew is awesome!

They don't need any 'guidance' from outside users!

2011-06-10 [Lord Josmar]: Belly yes. Hair no.

2011-06-10 [Paul Doyle]: I wonder why [Mystin] deleted his comments? Those with the proper privs can probably see them :p

2011-06-10 [Mystin]: If your implying that your priv is lower than mine, your a damn liar.

2011-06-10 [windowframe]: No, he's suggesting that people with really low privs (e.g. Guards) might be able to see deleted comments; but we can't either. Maybe Hedda can, but I'm not sure. I don't think wiki comments are stored in the same way as messages, and I think (though I could of course be wrong) once they're gone, they're gone for everyone, everywhere, evar.

2011-06-10 [Mystin]: YAY!!! In your face! I won!!! *dances*

2011-06-10 [Yuriona]: I don't see how Paul was implying his privs are lower or how this was a victory. Ah well, whatever gets you through the day I suppose. ;)

2011-06-10 [Mystin]: Hey don't get mad at me I support the council, I made a gazillion banners to prove it!

2011-06-10 [Yuriona]: How in the world did you construe that I was angry? <img:44166_1164145253.gif>

2011-06-10 [Mystin]: The last sentence.

2011-06-10 [Paul Doyle]: "Heh, my priv is bigger than yours!" I'm a 94, but very rarely use the text-uploading function. Well . . . if gloating over a minor file-upload upgrade is the highlight of your week, I suppose there's a disco ball you can dance under. The rest of us have . . . real lives, jobs, significant others, children, friends, families, social functions, geekgasms, and the rest. Enjoy your victory, for what it's worth.Do you need some duct tape to attach the disco ball to the ceiling, wherever you're at?

In the meantime, [Mystin], if you want to gain the crew's trust, don't habitually delete the comments you post (as has been observed repeatedly by many of us). It makes you resemble Brave Sir Robin (and if you don't know who Brave Sir robin is, then what the hack are you doing on a SF/F/horror themed website?) And mind you, I have zero current interest in joining the crew.

Banging coconuts is fine on this website, but being like Brave Sir Robin on this website (or anywhere else, for that matter) is lame. While it would be very politically incorrect to tell someone who's flagrantly gay to "man up and get a fucking grip, already", just show us all you have some guts, backbone and a commitment to being honest in an agreeable fashion.

OK, I'm done here (unless i'm personally addressed, of course)!

2011-06-10 [Yuriona]: That wasn't anger. More like... pity I guess. <img:stuff/laughing%20my%20azz%20off.png>

2011-06-10 [Mystin]: Support Our Guards -NOW OPEN!

2011-06-10 [Lord Josmar]: Hehe. Monty Python reference.

2011-06-10 [Mortified Penguin]: No, [Hedda] can't see deleted comments either. And suck it, Paul! I have priv 90! I win!

2011-06-10 [Lord Josmar]: I have privs too! I just don't know what number they are, lol.

2011-06-10 [Mortified Penguin]: But... you can see them at the top of your house...

2011-06-10 [Lord Josmar]: Not at my house, I guess. I don't see anything about my privs there.

2011-06-11 [Mortified Penguin]: You must have some pretty high privs then.

2011-06-11 [Lord Josmar]: Lolz. Makes me feel so important.

2011-06-11 [djxmonster]: I have 89... used to have 14.... had 1 on another site at one point

2011-06-11 [Paul Doyle]: Just how many "support the guards" type wikis do we have now? I remember in '04/'05 when this place was overrun with horny Turks and displaced Myspacer/AOL chat-room types and other fun people (not), there were at least 2 or 3 of them. These "support the guard" wikis have been popping up like little mushrooms lately. Some of them seem benevolent, like salad mushrooms and Portabellas. Some of them (brace yourself . . . more mushroom similes ahead!) seem inherently poisonous no matter how inviting they might seem to be from the outside. And a few of them are probably a bit like psychedelic mushrooms, all whacked out and shit. When does it become necessary to stop reinventing the wheel? How many "support the Guards" wikis are enough? There are better things to do with one's spare time, after all. o___O
